1099 Message Boards

I heard about Cafepharma and came to check it out. A little disappointing that there are so few posts here. Can anyone recommend any other good boards for 1099's?

The best is Linkedin. There aren't any others even worth visiting, IMO.

You may want to check out www.gorillamedicalsales.com --- or www.medreps.com for one month as a test run. When you sign up, but sure that the "auto-renew" box is NOT checked.

Medreps.com discourages employers, manufacturers, and recruiters from posting 1099 jobs, and will only allow up to ten posts at any one time. Gorillamedicalsales.com will allow unlimited 1099 jobs to be posted by employers, manufacturers, or recruiters.

Medreps.com charges employers, manufacturers, or recruiters to view your resume, but gorillamedicalsales.com does not.

There is also a free job board located at http://www.getmedicalsalesjobs.com/ --- but today, their website is down for an upgrade.

I'm an employer, and I have used all three.

There is also https://www.ziprecruiter.com/jobs or http://www.theladders.com/ --- but like http://www.getmedicalsalesjobs.com/ --- these websites are aggregators that use a spider to find other 1099 work posted on other websites and places those other jobs on their respective websites.

Yeah, this is a quiet board with a lot of childish comments...nothing but negativity it seems. Hard to believe some of these posters are actually independent reps.
