Come on!! Only 101 DaVinci's sold in Q3 of 2013 versus 155 in Q3 of 2012!!! You have to be kidding, you mean Kiscoe and the rest of the slimy ASM team aren't getting it done.

Revenue from the machines will continue to drop as robots enter a more mature part of the cycle. The "upgrade machines" purchased in the quarter reflects this reality and will represent a larger portion of unit sales going forward. Robot margins will be negatively affected and company focus will accelerate to razor blade and service recurring revenues. Eventually robots will be installed without capital purchase and "usage" robot fees will be added to disposable charges to capture capitol costs. Company guidance with diminishing razor revenues that cannot be offset by increased procedure volumes and already established service contracts is predictable.
 












So many people rooting for this company to fail at the physician and hospital administration levels. It reminds me of what J&J did with Cordis......except they at least treated their people well.
 


















This company is pretty bad. Ya I said it. I work here and I honestly I hate it. Like the dumbass that I am, I left a 6 year career at Stryker and came over to this sinking shit hole. Tired of the conference calls, tired of the people I work with..I am just tired in general. No culture here. No nothing.

Not true, there is culture here. A culture of manage by fear, self absorbed management/reps, etc… You just don't have the same culture that you had at Stryker, meatheads, ex pro baseball players who couldn't sell anything yet they can suck off doctors and talk shop with them so they got the job.

This company is all smoke and mirrors and a true marketing machine. You are correct about conference calls etc… Its all in the name of selling a story about a product that may or may not have true clinical benefits and also about selling a story up the ladder about how busy you are and how many cases are done in your territory. One of you assholes said it best a few weeks ago in a post on here where they said they were in an account who was celebrating their 100th case yet the company had it reported that they had done well over 250! What a shit show.

When competition gets here you cun ts are screwed. cheers.
