100 to Salix?

I was surprised to hear that they are still planning on rolling 100 of us over to Salix. Where the heck will we go there? It doesn’t seem like they would have 100 openings. I will believe it when I see it.

Each of the 3 Salix GI towers consists of 97-100 people.

My bet is they would bring over 97-100 reps and create a new tower. You will most likely keep Trulance and have a second product. Be ready to be micromanaged.

I don’t think your #’s include the contract sales reps that they have in PCP. I really don’t see them adding another 100 in addition to those. That’s a lot of reps with just the addition of our shitty drug .

I agree, BUT you’re assuming senior management at Salix only makes good business decisions. You’re right, we have the man power in place to handle Trulance; they may not see it that way though.

Micromanaged is an understatement. And just wait till you attend your first POA!

Did Salix even look at numbers??? The most successful managers were in New York & Southern California. Hard markets. They must know something because they are not going. Top reps aren’t going either. Can you say train wreck!

New York and Southern Cali are hard markets? Those markets win at every company. You must be new.

It already feels like an unfriendly place! All those papers we had to sign with one day notice left a bad taste in my mouth. I took the offer but I’m not planning on staying long. Good luck everyone.

Been on Salix boards. They don’t seem too happy to work there but no one is happy in this industry anymore. I should have been a little Plummer!
