Word from Sage leadership is 1 rep per territory calling on OB/GYN, Psych & PCP. If Biogen doesn’t pull out, it will be every other territory is Sage and every other is Biogen, just like the original OB/GYN territories.

Is the word from leadership that they plan on keeping all the reps they gave offers to? Would they keep just Sage reps if Biogen backs out? What is your interpretation of the rumors?
400 reps are not needed. Territories will be bigger and no partners. Of Biogen backs out, it will be just Sage. Probably 100 reps nationwide.

We can argue about whether this drug should have ever been up for approval for MDD or not especially if it was 50/50 at best. But you can’t have 400 reps between 2 companies with only 1 indication that will be very limited revenue at best. They didn’t lie about shit they just overplayed their hand before it was dealt. Hence the “contingent on approval” part in the offer letters that were sent out
