How will it effect other types of so-called "sales Jobs"?  The courts determined that pharma reps are not sales reps because they DO NOT take product orders or have physicians sign a contract for their drugs, which is UNLIKE "real" sales reps jobs in other industries, who DO have customers sign contracts or take orders.  I've been on both sides of the fence and I'll say this like many others have posted:  PHARMA REPS ARE NOT REAL SALES PEOPLE!  You are radio commercials = right offer, right audience, right frequency.  A customer has to hear the message at least three times before he/she will remember it.  Much like the drugs you are "promoting" to your Dr.'s.

When will some of you get this through your head???  Try getting a B2B job and then one day you'll figure it out.
