The stock has a market cap of $41.29 billion and P/E ratio of 7.78. LLY reported total revenue of $23.1 billion, an increase of 5.6% compared with a year ago. Eli Lilly will announce its first quarter financial results on April 18, 2011. Recently Lilly has made an unconditional offer to acquire the animal health business of Janssen Pharmaceutica NV.

QUESTION. 6-7 years ago, the Elanco division was about to be completely spun off as being a business entity not "worthy" of the Corporate Center Overhead (read: Extremely Highly Compensated Executives). Many decisions were made, including the sale of facilities involved with Animal Health such as Greenfield and Tippecanoe for fire-sale prices.

So, now hearts have changed, after all the $10 billion squandered on Elanco without a single lead is KILLING US. .....................QUESTION WHO MADE THESE DECISIONS............

But people must have high margin pharmaceuticals to control all 4 of these root causes. Without these medicines they would have to be responsible for their own health. That is not the American Way. The US government should be responsible for providing the medicines that allow us to live irresponsibly. Without them we would have to grow up and act like adults like those mean conservatives want us to do. Obama in 2012 and beyond.

"Innovation... comes from companies like ours, that re-invest 20% of 2000-fold inflated price margins to pay for high priced executives like me to make really dumb decisions about where to go with the portfolio. If I decide to by Imclone, we are going to get into that corporate jet and straight to New York with briefcases full of money, ask no questions, and pay whatever they want. By 2009 and we will have a robust pipeline based on these excellent candidates."

Let those who realllly need a paycheck for paying bills, feeding their families and covering medical expenses stay. Surely our meager salaries wont make a dent like the Dirs. and above will. We have bright young people to move in those positions. WE LOVE YOU, BUT YOU CAN BULLY PEOPLE AT THE SHOPPING MALL AND SENIOR HOMES ALL DAY LONG IF YOU WANT TO AFTER YOU RETIRE.

Socialites likes of Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, Kim Kardashian, Ruby Rubiacuori, Rachel Uchitel, and of course LiLo. called socialite for a reason; but John and his coterie of pharmalites engange in similar self-mutilating behaviour with only contrast which take severe toll on other people. One damn day they can't stop drinking or fùcking or spending others money just so that they remain in the paparazzi's dreams of snatching open leg photos.
