Since McDermott is a Dem, and since he was threatened for having voted FOR a Republican bill, the only possible conclusion is that the person making the threats is a whacked out Liberal.

Well, you got it partly right. Where the argument falls is that McDermott voted FOR the Bush tax cuts. The threatener was an extreme leftist who didn't want the tax cut bill to pass.

Some people want to pretend that McDermott voted against extension of the Bush Tax Cuts, because it supports their theory that McDermott was shot at by a Tea Party member.

Here is the record of how McDermott voted on the issue:

How did McDermot vote on the issue? He voted for the extension. What was in the mind of the shooter? We don't know.

One side, that which helps the Democrats, is illogical.

The other side, that which supports the contention that the shooter didn't even understand what was going on, is probably more truthful but liberidiots like Pail/Vag (same person), BN, RAB, Set, can't accept it because it goes against what they would like the truth to be.
