Are you guys at Spark ready to be Roche-ified? Say good bye to your entrepreneurial spirit and say hello to Swiss process and back stabbing. You will love it. Just ask Genentech.......
Does Roche really leave companies alone? Here at Spark's they promised to leave us alone, so far they have followed through on their pledge to leave us alone. We haven't fully been assimilated into the Roche culture, we still are operating as a stand alone unit.

Classic pump n' dump by the sparkers.Looks like leaving Spark alone wasn't really a good idea. The Spark pipeline was hyped up by its Exec’s and most if not all if it has been shelved by Roche. Spark has nothing but an old Gene Therapy for an indication that has dried up, they have a $600 million annual burn rate, and spent $800 million on a manufacturing plant in the middle of a city and are now trying to get Sereptas product in there to save them. Bye bye Spark.
So at this point Roche has just about doubled down on Spark since its $4.3 billion purchase, prob spent another $4-5 billion in carrying costs, and has nothing to show for it except a building that ate up $800 million in cash!! If I recall the press release correctly, Roche doesn’t own the new building or the property either. Is anyone on the Roche Board addressing this???Looks like leaving Spark alone wasn't really a good idea. Well, they just announced Spark is going away and the site will be integrated into the Roche network…more to come but I am sure we will see more the cuts soon. The Sr Exec’s ran this place into the ground and all need to go!Well then Sylke in, won’t be long now!
