You’re forgetting the other prerequisite to be promoted at BMS. Not only do you have to be retarded, you must be related to the manager who must be equally or more retarded.

Worst pharma management out there and I’ve worked at Pfizer.

Worked for BMS in WA. The most poorly managed company I've ever seen. Nepo babies all through middle management and they stonewall and chase out anyone that talks about it. Friends of managers get promoted to supervisors after 6 months of just showing up while others are told they need to leave the company if they want to move up after being there for three years. They treated their highly skilled work force as disposable, literally telling me to my face at one time that they could "churn and burn through workers because everyone was desperate for a job" and now they are inundated with DI and quality issues across their sites because they can only find people who aren't involved in the industry enough to know to stay away working under people who never cut their teeth enough to know how to lead them.

That's not even touching on the rumors of managers at all levels ALLEGEDLY (these are rumors, don't come for me) asking Entry Level/Contractor/Level 1 associates to sleep with them for a promotion.
