i have been in so many meetings with joe and he unfairly asks stupid questions and bullys people.
well Joe can you self examine your performance that would be hilarious

Joe" who ourchased HR "
Joe " who overpaid for HillROM"

Joe " Who restructure into a confusing GEM/ Established markets circus"

Joe " Who put reaz in charge of HST"

Joe " why couldnt you make Renal profitable instead of selling it"

Joe Versus Joe would be hilarious

Ya'll know that Joe is a venture capitalist, right? He came from Carlyle Group and VC Firm, these firms prioritize rapid growth over long-term sustainability. When Joe came onboard in 2016, there was rapid growth in the stock. Stock went from $40 a share in 2016 to $90 at it height in February 2020.

These gains were made at the cost of long-term sustainability just like everyone else who follows Welchism (From Jack Welch who destroyed GE the same way as Joe killed Baxter). There is nothing left of the old Baxter, and the valueable part of Hillrom got poached by Stryker (Intellectual capital not products).

Make no mistake, Joe killed Baxter in favor of short-term gains. But I wouldn't fault Joe for that, that is just what venture capitalism does. Find a midsized company, cook the accounting books to make the business look more profitable than it is, sell your stock in the company, rinse and repeat with the next company.

I am just curious why Joe is still hanging around, there is no quick fix for Baxter now unless Joe plans on selling it in pieces. Your guess is as good as mine I suppose.

I heard they're is talk about splitting out Pharmaceutical group next. Afraid to see what is next, but the outlook is not looking good. Supposedly huge layoffs in January.

My feeling is that Joey needs to lower down the price so it can be sold but gets a huge comm in the back so he can retire without losing the 70m$ he invested in… as you say Joey always prioritized short terms gains… got ríd of anybody smarter than him and apointed monkeys to run the business… killed R&D and despite his bla bla was unable to define any vision…
