Repatha expansion?

There will be changes as a result of growth….primary prevention….weight loss….lp(a). Who knows what that will look like….but there will need to be more boots on the ground. There is a priority to stay headcount neutral when other divisions shed reps due to market conditions. Do they slide over to Repatha? We could twist ourselves into a pretzel projecting how it could play out. But this is a good place to be…I know that

It seems like many reps for a product that only does approximately 1.5 billion in sales. But I guess that is the Amgen way- have many average reps and underpay them.

Repatha does more than $1.5B in sales
I said approximately. And the profit isn't that high due to the number of reps and selling expenses. It never was the product Amgen touted it to be. It was never able to grab the market it thought it would.

The oral introduction to the market will kill Repatha. I didn't know that Merck had one. Is it close to coming out?

Regardless of whether you “said approximately,” you’re still wrong.

Single rep territories with a product slated to do $2 billion and growing at 40% year over year that doesn’t have primary prevention yet and has Level 1 institutional momentum. I bet you were the same knucklehead screaming layoffs every year for 4 years straight for Repatha. Dumbass

How many total reps do you have, field monkey?

This salesforce is rock bottom as far as Amgen goes. Pay is terrible, bonus is bad, sales data is wrong, goals are crazy. Your resume experience to move to other companies is awful because it's Amgen. Nothing good about selling Repatha. I used to think the 401k match was great, but even that is now considered average for the industry. Industry worst stock purchase plan. Below industry standards for healthcare benefits. Stay away!

Sales reps are helpless children
