Please Help can you work as vendor in hospital with DUI??

I work for a medical device company in Philadelphia. I had a misdemeanor DUI in 2001. I have to go through vendorclear, vendormate and reptrax with my background check with DUI on it in 2001 and upload it to 15 different hospitals. Will I be allowed in the Philadelphia hospitals in my territory, thanks?
 








Most companies only go back 3 years for a DUI. If they want to pay for more than 5 years. Also, after 10 years you can go to an attorney to have them waive it from your record. Not sure if its been 10 years now for you but that was what I had been told.

The hospitals don't care.... You don't work for them. If you pass your background check for the vendor clearing houses you should be good.
 




Not sure it matters!

Medtronic still employs a rep in Washington, DC who was convicted of drunk driving-one hospital staff member was killed and another required facial reconstruction surgery. It happened about 15 years ago. The rep went to jail on weekends and nights-he was allowed work release. He’s still working! He doesn’t even have a college degree.

Still employed. What great character and a great company to keep on a convicted felon. It’s all about what money can be made.

The entire industry is full of these people.
