I am hearing from several AZ reps that their Syneos reps are barely working and are just collecting a paycheck. Other than lunches, you wouldn't even know that they are working. They barely know the products and they don't care. They are not being held to the same standard as the AZ reps and are making us do all the work.

It's OK. They are just living the "all day lie" like many at AZ and the industry as a whole. Certain markets are a breeding ground for this. Don't blame the reps. They are a victim of circumstance.
They want to play the "victim" card? Victim of what? Collecting a paycheck and barely working? Riding off the coat tails of all the AZ rep's hard work to collect their bonus?
If you took a job as a deck hand on the Titanic... How hard would you work after it starts to sink?
I have worked at Pfizer, GSK, and Merck. Downsized each time, despite excellent performance. Before I retired, I was on a contract with AZ. In all honesty, the reps at AZ were easily the worst. Syneos reps were more seasoned and professional.

I took an extra 6 weeks vacation and no one knew. So I doubt anyone notices
Of course the Syneos reps are embracing the ALL DAY LIE! Why wouldn’t they!
They are getting a full time wage plus bonus, benefits and a company vehicle but complain that they don't make as much as an AZ rep, so they barely work. It's a bad investment on AZ's part.
Remember. This contract started in October and ended training right after thanksgiving. Right in time for the AZ reps tonight their 2 weeks paid vacation for Christmas while the Syneos red to work. Bad way to start off.

Excuse me, but the AZ reps worked all year to earn that time off. Someone starting in October working for a completely different company, can't expect the same thing.
First of all, I would bet all of my organs and eye lids that the experienced Syneos representatives are better than the goofballs at AZ.
Second, AZ reps barely work, so what is your point here? Most pharma reps' barley works these days. And the managers do less. Do you really think these doctors care about what you say? NO. They don't and they don't care about you or your stupid products. Everyone, including you and them, are on the take, and don't care.
My suggestion to you is simple: just shut up. It will be the best way to get through your meaningless job.
If you were hired on the RI side the day before the 2 week break you still got the 2 week break so your point doesn’t hold
Seems like a lot to get pushed through a pathetic training crash course and 2 weeks into your first month with the product your told “hey the rest of us are taking 2 weeks off, you go work”
