Hire a clown of a CIO who was clearly out of his depth. Fire anyone who knows anything. Outsource to a bodyshop of incompetent muppets and then fire the clown for not making his numbers work. P1’s are a daily occurrence.
We can’t provide customers any real time info about their orders but hey ho we have baxter AI. That will move the needle for sure

The whole place is falling apart - I was in Global IT for 11+ years and got marching papers in Sept 2023. I was the SME for a critical homegrown application that is used in our sites around the Globe. They are now trying to farm that out to Tard Tard Consulting - God help 'em.

The market is screwed too - took me six months from when I was told in May 2023 to find something to pay the bills, then 6 months after that to be able to find an even better job that paid more than Baxter.

Start looking now if you can - its only going to get worse before its gets better.
