Medtronic aims to improve the colonoscopy with AI

The Dublin, Ireland-based device maker has the first system cleared by the FDA that uses artificial intelligence to detect potential signs of colon cancer. Research recently suggested that combined with colonoscopy, AI could improve colon cancer prevention and reduce costs for patients.
