All talk, flashy smile no substance. Horrible strategic planner. Belviq acquisition is exhibit A. He was convinced it would be a billion $$ product. Rather arrogant too. Bought MGI for oncology experience and then wouldn't listen to advice from experienced oncology execs. Also was, in his words, "Too busy to meet with the president of Helsinn." when Aloxi contract renewal negotiation was underway.

He was also the one who pushed Sembler out - the most experienced oncology person the company has ever seen.

Let's not forget he also promoted that worthless demotivating blowhard OB to his position then ignored the destruction of and the mass exodus of the experienced oncology sales force under his watch.

LC was an empty suit with no strategic sense, just a fast talking amateur.
Japan thought he was good, and a diversity candidate; even better.

Not a business, commercial or operational person, actually fr from it.
He will ruin Lexicon if the board is not sharp.
Total waste!

To the OP....You getting the picture here chief???

No one at this shop has anything good to say about LC. His record at the head of Eisai and the subsequent implosion of the entire company speaks for itself. Good luck with this empty suit with no foresight or strategic planning success to speak of at the helm of any company.

I guess nothing else needs to be said about the illustrious Eisai career of LC. The verdict is in, it's unanimous, he was/is a worthless figurehead.
