Ok yes we get paid to attend these meetings if you want to look at things in literal terms. However, if you look at things in real world.... "Reality" these meetings are filled with fluff and offer little if any value to affect the bottom line...... So it's free food and drinks and a little catch up time with coworkers from around the country for the week. Sunovion seems to change the sales aid every 6 months in an attempt to justify a national meeting which offers no ROI. Yup very little in terms of Driving sales which is what reps get paid to do So yes reps get paid their base salary to be there, but are pulled from their customers all week and away from their business to sit and watch ass clowns who call themselves managers try to justify their jobs by talking smoke & mirrors. Very poor ROI! Not trying to hate but just calling it straight up. 1 national meeting a year is plenty. Save the money from a second meeting and add it to the bonus payout pool.
