And so on and on, for this company as others has limitless arsenal of "alternative" business practices to get that super return on their $$.</p><p>True story: In 2002 VP of marketing at the time, was asked why does such large, powerful and rich company need to use illegal practices to do business. This was in a very private setting and he was somewhat primed with company paid for alcohol (you know the scene).All present were of the highest caliber and this business of deliberate, planned use of illegal stuff was well understood, for they were all it's practitioneres. The "stupid" question came from one who seemd to still have some honesty left in him.</p><p>"Let me put it this way, if we did not do it we'd never meet our objectives given to us by Basel, we never would have lavish salaries and bonuses as we do, we never would stay in such luxury hotels etc. etc. Simply that's the way Basel wants it and that's the way Dorval wants it and that's the way you must do it."</p><p>Needless to say the question asker did not make it for the next national meeting in another lavish hotel.</p><p>Yes, why spend time on trying to change this idyllic set up.
