You are correct! We need to all think in these terms.

Not sure why we need to think like him unless your trying to kiss ass. He is a great leader but not the "Holy Grail". We need Products and we need them now.

You can't tell me that there are not good products out there that don't need a stellar sales force with a Rolodex in Podiatry, Ortho, Reum and Pain.

Let's get with the Program! Our two products are dying on the vine

He was pushed out and went to Integra. If he focused on managed care/nams, wasn't the brainchild behind scoli-score and actually showed interest in his employees he might have had a shot at staying. Whoever says he's a great leader is clueless.

Interesting! How was he as an overall leader? A little concerning that he treated employees the way he did. What did he do or not do?

Came across as arrogant, never took the time to get to know or show interest in reps, on club trips not a word to any spouce or rep for that matter. Lacked interpersonal skills.

At least a layoff wasn't on his watch. And you gotta admit, we did have record sales until we were interrupted by new ownership.
His job wasn't to Greet reps and their spouses. Leave that to DOSs and VP of sales - ( who did a really good job w spouse greeting:) and ensuring we were recognized.

Miss the old days. Those guys were great for morale.

disagree. He often stopped to talk to me. Spoke to my spouse at award locations and when we bumped into each other while travelling. While he wasn't the charismatic AD, he did the job until he got disinterested and SnN pulled all moneys to accomplish anything. Under GN , he was dead man walking and waited for his exit plan to unfold. I wish him well.
