1. IMPORTANT: In the next few weeks, we will be upgrading the message board software. We expect minimal downtime during the upgrade, and we will attempt to complete this during low-traffic hours. We will post an exact time several days ahead of the switch.

In preparation for the upgrade, we will be performing board maintenance, such as moving boards to Lost Civilizations where appropriate. Lost Civilizations is a category for companies that have either been dissolved or acquired. The boards serve as both an archive of the old company posts, as well as a place for former employees to reminisce or reconnect, as they will remain open for posting. We may also remove some board threads that have been inactive for several years.

As a pharma rep, I've always made sufficient calls per day and won many awards without a company tracking my whereabouts. Yes, I have occasionally gone to a personal doctor appointment and picked up groceries on the way home.

Which companies are tracking their reps with GPS (allegedly to report mileage)?
Has tracking been an issue for anyone being reprimanded/ fired or has it been a non-issue?

    They definitely can track.
So, just do the job very slowly during the day.

    It is what it is.

This industry is transactional at this point. You will not grow as a person or sell products that do good for the most part. There are very few exceptions.

Medical is about money and business. Not helping patients.

    I think C-19 proved that.

If you have a company-issued iphone and/or ipad your exact location and complete routing for the day with timing of stops can be viewed. I know this for a fact. Most companies are not going to sift through all of that data unless there is a suspected issue w the employee.

This is why it is important to work at a reasonable pace. Stay in the field 8-5. Make pharmacy calls in the morning, to not piss off your offices by getting in there too early or too late.

Man, I hate this industry with a passion.
