Ask one of your B+L or Allergan counterparts what kind of retention incentives they're getting. I know both companies have been through a lot but the $ is impressive.
Ok that's not exactly true. B+L gave the Pharmaceutical DMs retention bonuses. Gave nothing to Pharma field reps, nothing to Surgical DMs, or Surgical reps. The have lost 30% of their surgical reps since AAO. Considering Valeant's accounting practices they are probably happy about the money the are saving!
Allergan reps are getting their entire 2016 Q1 bonus duplicated and added on top of their 2017 Q1 bonus just to retain them until then. Smart move. Maybe Alcon can just expand our territories to account for the 20% of our colleagues that have or will resign by the end of this month. It'll help us avoid layoffs for a bit maybe.
Sounds like an amazing idea! Alcon can't keep reps happy and won't do anything to keep them so those that have decided to stay can clean up Alcon's mess by covering open territories to avoid a layoff?? That is a ridiculous idea.
We are about to get laid off. Why would they pay us to stay. Novartis reps are bottom of the talent pool.
This is not true. B+L reps are getting a 50% add on to any commissions they make this year. Target bonus for reps is now 45K.
All Alcon reps will get 17 additional E trainings on V& B as retention bounus in 2016 JJ will write 4 special blog on acceleration plan and investment in Africa( dont know where it is accelerating and investing)
Dont count on it. Theyve made goals a lot harder to reach. We have no managed care for people over 65- just like you. We are selling coupons. We all are. Pathetic
