Stock (RSU) received at DM level is around 300 per year with 100 maturing per year ( in other words it take 3 years to get full value from the year received).

Very good. I am a technologist, physics and engineering. Salary at Abbott was excellent. Stock options at the startups were outstanding. I guess it's whatever gets you there..

Was 30 years at Abbott hard? It became very political for me. Others have said the same. Overall it was a good job.

Am retiring from Home Office at the end of June and am set for life. Abbott/Abbvie has been very good to me and my family. No complaints.

I agree this should not be such a mystery. Don't hide and don't hate. These do change over time but this is after the split. Also, board members get grants by the thousands and tens of thousands. Most RSU recipients Grade 20 and over do not receive profit sharing.
Grade 18 - 26 RSUs should represent approximately 10% to 33% of total compensation respectively. I'll let you do the math.

I retired in 2012 w/ 20+ yrs and doing just fine.

2012 LTI Annual Grant Guidelines - # of RSUs

    Grade
Grant Amount Grant Amount for Top 10%
    26 4,500 4,950
    25 3,200 3,520
    24 2,400 2,640
    23 1,800 1,980
    22 1,400 1,540
    21 800 880
    20 500 550
    U.S. District Manager 200 n/a
    19 100 n/a
    18 100 n/a

Very informative. Is the grant yearly.
Example Grade 18 will receive 100 hrs / yr ?

During the tech bubble I made about $1M in options at a startup. What Abbott gives is just BS. Not real money unless you are a way up there....

Who gives a sht about vp's, gen mgrs or district managers. You think they are posting on CP. I am a field sales rep and proud of it. I don't care what options they are getting. Remember what you have to do to get those options. Spend everyday kissing someone's ass.
