CVM Layoffs

The hammer is falling today

 

Sounds about right. Calls being thrown up on the board for today and calls for tomorrow being canceled. Not totally unexpected.

 

any real information on this ?
or is it all just speculation?

 

I heard something happened but I haven’t received anything about a call. Who was let go and where?

 

People have been laid off in my region. That’s all I’ll say. But it’s real. Just no info on how far reaching it is.

 

Is it done for now? No email, no message from leadership, no nothing?

 

If you didn’t have a call this afternoon, then your district was not affected. Yet.

They lied to us about this, told us no layoffs and boom here we go. You can’t ever believe these people. As long as the business sucks and it does suck there will be more reductions. More changes to come. Still too many mirrored footprints. You mirrors are sitting ducks. Whack whack. Still to many DM’s now that rep head count is reduced. The saddest part is the number of HSM’s that don’t sell, never have sold, have reps do their work and yet they keep their jobs. This entire CVM is an optics show, a political party, DEI got WOKE and now we are broke. Katie you lied and leadership you went along with it all the while giving each other high fives on stage and pandering health care inequality. Shameful.

 

It’s not just mirrored territories that are in danger. Higher salaries are also being hunted. Poor performance is being used as an excuse, even though it wasn’t the field reps that decided to throw away their better targets for the absolute shit snow that is JACI. Whoever bought into that shit is who should be fired. But the imbeciles at the top will always protect each other, while the reps once again pay for their idiotic choices.

So are the layoffs just CVM? I haven’t heard of any in the other franchises.

 

What are you guys gonna do with your super cool scrubs you wear in PCP offices?

 

This was not a layoff. These were for cause firings “based on performance” and spanned across the entire organization, not just CVM.

 

Bullshit….some of those that were laid off were lauded today for increasing market share on the “go green’ contest.

 

Do you have another product other Xarelto? This sucks for all of us. Eliquis rep here and our days are very numbered as well so trying to figure it all out

 

This. These were not layoffs. These were employees identified by leadership as a problem for one reason or another and given the opportunity to pack their bags and leave quietly with some money in their pocket or be severed. These were reps and DMs.

J&J doesn’t like “layoffs”. They prefer to cut problem people a small check, sign an NDA and ask them to leave quietly and they get to maintain a reputation of not laying off like other pharma tends to do.

 

Let’s just keep ignoring the fact that JACI is a disaster and has been completely damaging to this company since it was adopted. Where are the bigwigs that were pushing this? Oh, yeah, they’ve moved on. No accountability at all.
