One important take away from today is that nothing said in here should be taken seriously. This site being shut down? Nope didn’t happen. Major cuts coming to this location? Cuts that hit this location but not too bad. Remember people will come here to troll, but you just have to brush it off. People will come here and call out others anonymously. It’s a sign of weakness. Those of you who lost a job I’m sorry hope you land on your feet.

 

Every board on this site has trolls. It’s funny how many posts gets recycled from board to board. They mention reorgs and realignments and eventually they might be right. But not today.

 

Anyone know how many people were let go today? Cuts not that bad? Is that true?

heard the same thing..a few rounds of layoffs this year affecting all sites..this is not over…

 

Got laid off from RWC and seriously considering options at MoCR in CMX. Do you all recommend or is this another ticking time bomb?

 

Senior director discovery biotherapeutics laid off at CMX and more expected to go. Seriously at this stage of uncertainty why would anyone worthwhile want to stay at BMS? The way they have gone about laying off people, no one can feel comfortable and be productive. Everyone will be looking over their shoulder, expecting a sudden call or meeting to tell them that their role is over. Good and talented people will find other options and this place will be saddled with the leftovers!

 

BMS took a playbook from the Southpark Underpants gnomes. Part 1: get the underpants is the 2023-2025 cost cutting measures which will for sure have more layoffs. Part 2: ? Is what makes me think this company is doomed, they just say make the dip faster and shallower so they can ge to Part 3: profit. With no real business plan as to how to get there.

 

For now this company is a ticking bomb. There's nothing to boos the profits in next quarter or the one after. These layoffs won't save as much as the company is bleeding with bloated C-suite. Laying off a project manager and hiring a VP is cost saving for BMS! If you are going to apply and interview better to take chances with another company. This one is certainly doomed in the near future.
