I was out at happy hour the other day (you know, just trying to unwind after another shitty week), and one dude from another big pharma dropped this on me 'Yeah man, we heard BMS has gotten real toxic over there. Like nobody wants to work for them anymore.'

humiliating to even admit I work here.

Sounds like a super fun alternative life style bar. Did you guys talk about all the drama on the new season of Real Housewives of NJ too?

We've always had a bad culture, but the products have covered it up.

Now that we have to actually market and sell products that aren't pushed to success by protocols, the culture is bubbling to the top and it stinks of toxicity.

Just a shitty place to work, surrounded by malcontents.

Thank you for the lyrical words - it is a rough impact on people and families and sad that so many dedicated, intelligent, hard-working people are suddenly tossed away and thrust into a scary and uncertain transition without ever having been given an opportunity to advocate for themselves or apply for a position in the reduced org structure. People's managers weren't even involved, never an opportunity to advocate for their employees. Just consultants and uncaring far-removed executives moving pawns around on the chess boards. No compassion, no respect.

Thank McKinsey and all those consultants. Stop approving their POs and hiring those far removed Ivy League assholes

    McKinsey is a plague.

Of course we're dumb enough to pay them tens of millions of dollars and turn us into Valeant 2.0.

Leadership is too dumb or doesn’t care to understand that replacing certain groups with India will only decrease efficiencies. Short-term cost savings. Good luck with getting anything done with a 5 tier help desk

They are! To learn more about how they operate, I recommend everyone to watch John Oliver last week tonight on YouTube.
