Managers riding in rep cars?? Rep Liability

Interviewing and they said I have to have a personal car.. is it required managers ride with reps on field days if reps using their own personal vehicles?? Shouldn’t managers be driving their own cars? Coming from an industry where this isn’t recommended for liability reasons n fam member who’s an attorney advise against driving anyone in my car around if I’m using personal vehicle for business purposes. Is this required here or in the employee handbook or something I can request?
