This place is full of negativity and hate. I understand that it’s easier to voice your dissatisfaction than what you like, but it’s important to know that the comments here don’t represent the majority of people at GSK. I am thankful that this company allowed me to meet my wife and achieve a level of financial freedom. I also have a solid manager and good work-life balance. I like the independence and level of autonomy I have in the field.

There will be lots of snarky comments below this post. I understand not everything is perfect by any means. If you feel so inclined, please share something you are thankful for working here. There are other posts here to voice your dissatisfaction (and I would encourage you to post your hate there), but I want to create a post where people can (for once) be positive. Thanks.

I’m thankful for Opportunity Engine! I don’t know how we grew our business without it!

I'm definitely thankful for this job. It's been a great ride and I've met some amazing peeps through the years! Happy Good Friday. Christ has risen...he is risen indeed!

For a guy with a business degree I figure I am happy to work for GSK. A variety of roles over the past 30 years, the past 8 in the VBU. Always internal B.S. to deal with and I have a choice to stay or go else where. For the most part in any large pharma org it's the same deal. Pays decent, perks good- and in the end it's a job. Do I love my job, not much any more however I am glad to have this job as retirement isn't far off and between the cash balance plan and 401K at GSK it goes a long ways toward supporting my retirement.

    1. You chose financial freedom over integrity. Good for you. I bet you make great parents as well. Didn't you get the memo that chasing after money in this life is a road to being a loser...and has been the reason for many people destroying their lives?

    2. You have a good work-life balance. Wow. That sounds terrible. So, your job is on par with your life? That is a bad deal, for you. Good for GSK of course, that you were fooled into thinking your job is as important as you life.

    3. You like the independence of this job. What independence are you even talking about? This job gets progressively worse with all the technology micromanagement.

Finally, don't take this as snarky comments. I just want you to challenge yourself to be a more intelligent human being. GSK does more harm to our society than good. I hope I don't have to explain myself here. Also, the fact that they make billions in profit, from the suffering of human beings, is very predatory and awful.

    Have a great day!

I am thankful they termed me in Nov ‘21
for not taking the toxic Covid jab and for not pursuing a medical or religious accommodation.

As a field sales leader, their woke bullshit was killing me from the inside out. Never been happier, retired and living the dream. Cost me some real money, but would not change a thing.

Meanwhile declining dividends and stagnant stock price over the last 5 years. Emma and crew doing a bang up job.

They had no business mandating an "emergency use" treatment. The ultimate in corruption.
