First order of business has to be to fire Toilet Paper. Sales are in the tank, he's in a panic, and is embarrassingly stupid. If the new CEO actually keeps TP then we have zero hope for success.

 

TP isn't the reason sales are in the tank. This company is on a downhill slide that it'll never be able to recover from. Once they fire TP, Kapoor will just put someone else in that position that he can control.

 

TP is not the only reason sales are tanking, but he clearly only makes things worse. He's a combative jerk whose ego won't allow him to search out answers from others. He has all the answers, likes to fire people, communication skills are limited to yelling, and strategy is severely lacking. He's was sooo proud to have fired the Albuquerque rep and the new idiot DSM KD just laps it up like a dog begging for a biscuit. Pathetic. Sorry but it says something when 90% of mgmt rips his ass behind his back at every opportunity. You can't get 90% of any group of people to agree on anything these days, but there is quite the consensus that he's an idiot.

 

Strategy is "severely lacking"?

Wait, you mean that firing good reps and creating huge coverage gaps right before the launch (maybe) of a critical new product (that more than likely sucks) isn't good business strategy? Especially when you consider that this company currently has some of the worst PR in the entire industry and forgot to consider that any potential applicant of any value most likely has the ability to use google?

Wait until you meet SM, new CEO. He'll be nice and humble for a little while then at the first sign of stress he'll snap like the maniac that he is. Careful, he's petty and very vindictive. He's all about SM and probably won't even relocate to the home office just like he didn't do at Purdue.
