Word on the street is, Mizuho's previous long time employee, Josh Truitt, who took a position with NSK as their US sales and product manager is convincing NSK to severe ties with Mizuho. Mizuho currently use distributors themselves, and have been selling the NSK surgical drill. However, Josh Truitt has somehow convinced NSK to break their contract with Mizuho and then rehire all the distributors Mizuho is using. What I want to know is how a company will hire someone that has no sales experience to make decisions like this. Yes, seems like he has 10 years of experience being a product specialist, but no sales experience? Who would want to even work with a someone that is now stabbing his previous employer's back?

Although this thread is old, I'd reply with have you seen the Table side of the business? Over there they hire Frat bro's and anyone that played D1 ball of some kind. There's some sales hiring criteria! Then they bring an asshole from Phillips as VP of sales and this guy would hire a systems analyst from Phillips for a sales job if he knew them! Hiring criteria at this company has nothing to do with hiring actual sales people.
Unbelievable the tables have to sell themselves they have no real sales people on the table side!
