"you will get actual cash for your medical benefits"

Do you recall the specifics of this?

Yes. Not every area has Ashfield representation. In our district, two territories are now combined....1 rep will get it and 3 will not be retained. Some areas the downsized will be very low; other areas the downsized will be very large.

Are the Ashfield reps being kept? What's the situation with that?

This is what I have heard:

If a Ashfield rep inhabits a district that a CV rep could be placed into then the Ash rep will be displaced from their contract position. (Don't feel bad they are CSO and that's to be expected when they agreed to work for Ash and most Ash reps love their flexibility in that type of job so that's why they took it) If a Respiratory position is open in the territory then the Ash rep may then apply to go to the Resp position. Hope that helps.

PTO is 50%, unless you are considered retirement age (55+?), or state law requires 100%.

State law dictates PTO payout. I left in the spring they gave me 50%. I looked up the state law and it should have been 100%. I contacted the Dept of Labor for my state. They requested the PTO policy from the company. I contactedHR at BI and told I need the information for the DOL. BI had the rest of my PTO check in days! They don't want a hassle from DOL.
