    True story.....why hire internals who have done so much for the company? Skip over them and hire new lazy ass peeps who SAY there have relationships but we all know they have seen one doc this year if that....

    AND pay them way, way more then an AZ internal candidate. lets face it, external candidate relationships and their experience is worth the extra $$$. They will make immediate impact! Internal candidate requires too much start up time. IO needs to get going ASAP and external hires will get the job done!

    There is a reason that those external candidates are no longer with their companies. AZ is not the IO company reps are dieing to work for. At least give it to good quality in house reps....which believe it or not there are many. And let's be honest .., how many quality physician discussions do you have a day?!

    What a great message to send to your employees...they completely wasted our time and energy while knowing we had zero chance to move to IO...Ridiculous!!!!

    I mean really. Who would we hire from current stock? Brilliant reps with their 4 share? What is #1 rep in country at? Symbicort reps ha ha ha. CNS? Selling rehash XR for 7 years to psychs who like to talk to a rep for a break now and then? This came from the top. They are separating the wheat from the chaff to make it easier to sell. Why do you think they are not integrating at MAPS level? All the MAPS people will be toast too,

    Nothing yet.. Heard there might be delays in offers.

    No delays unless you are external. There will be no internal hires from the dregs of Wilmington and old school pharma. Especially CV Spec reps. None need apply and they regret now that they wasted time and money interviewing the losers.

    This seems very true. Now that the dust has settled, hearing feedback that all new hires have been external.

    they cherry picked a few of the good female reps but that is all. ONC needs a little better diversity - not as bad as hospital with all the old white men but almost as bad. Check the numbers of internal hires and then look at male/female ratio. Enough said. White men need not apply if internal. Next.

    The entire ONC expansion process was a joke and complete waste of time for anyone internally. Total lack of professionalism in the way it was handled from start to finish. I hope the clowns they brought in are going to deliver and save us all.....

    looks like they have already escorted out the big clown... This entire "externally hired" sales force will crumble under its own weight.

    They get what they deserve..the internals were set up to fail and had zero chance! Oncology academy was ridiculous and now they are expanding it..for what?!?!

    so we went out and got the "bottom feeders" from other companies and gave them a big fat pay raise then pissed on the feet of internal employees...so we are now set up for success. Typical...and not at all surprised... Some things never change

    Its a sad day for any internal reps who are looking for a promotion into oncology. Basically telling you that you cant perform better then an external with experience and there is no chance for you. Sorry folks. I was an internal hire years ago who recently moved on for better pay and opportunity.

    Screw all you primary care and CNS bitches. Samples and messages and no science backgrounds. We don't want you so get over it. And CV Specialty? that's a joke. what is so special about having the best drug in the class and a 5 share after 5 years.

    Looks like the entire newly formed IO cocky externals are going to be running back to their old employers begging for their jobs back. Pride goeth before folly!!
