If that would make you roll on the floor laughing your ass off you have some weird personal problem or you've smoked a bit too much weed while trolling CP. If this is all you can come up with to post on our site you might do better sitting in your momma's basement playing video games and eating Vienna sausages. Geez, the la ck of maturity among Allergan Eye reps is astounding

I laughed hard at the comment about our drug preventing mascara running into Jennifer Aniston's dry eye. They make dry eye seem like a really serious disease.
Did Flemming get to meet her when they shot the commercial?

I have obviously stumbled into a website meant for advertising companies and drug marketers. I am neither. I am a lowly consumer. I also do not troll the Internet looking for places where my voice can be heard. In fact, I've never done this before - until Jennifer Aniston's Eye Love ads debuted on my TV set a week or two ago.

The ads are utterly awful. Ms. Aniston is not believable. Sadly, she appears unlikeable - hard, cold, and and unfriendly as she reads her scripted lines. Her eye makeup is poor: Am I correct in recalling black liner on blue eyes? She looks like she needs a hair wash.

This is the wrong approach to advertising a product of which I've never heard. Eye Love? Is it a liquid dropped in the eyes? Is it a cream applied underneath? In my opinion, a more traditional ad approach (problem + product application + solution) would have been better.

Ms. Aniston's "Aveena" ads? No issue. Ms. Aniston comes across as warm and friendly. Almost everyone knows what to do with a skin cream.

Eye Love? Other companies already hold the name, as Google shows. Having reacted so negatively to this ad, (with feelings strong enough that I fell upon this forum in trying to find and complain to the manufacturer), I felt genuine anger at the tag line "my friends" - a cheesy reference to the sitcom that first drew Ms. Aniston to public attention. Why didn't the tag line resonate with me? I am not JA's "friend," and probably never will be.

I dont understand the millions and millions of dollars being spent on this bullshit ass campaign. I just saw a restasis commercial one commercial after "eye love". Most people will think the two are one in the same.

As a rare disease company it is surprising and disappointing to see Shire use silly Jennifer Aniston in a commercial about dry eyes vs. Allergan (maker of Botox) who has a more serious educational commercial. Wouldn't you expect it to be the reverse?

Shire being a rare disease company is a flat out lie. Hopefully they sell off their rare disease products and stick with the primary care products they know.

Perhaps an Academy Award winning actress like Marisa Tomei?..

But don't you think they need a more serious actress? Or Actor? Why do both companies portray dry eye disease as something women have?

    What does this mean?

  20. I love Jennifer Anniston. And most everything she does. I thought the Emirates commercial was cute and was not offended at all as so many were. The Eye Love Commercial turned me off. Can't explain it more than she seemed most arrogant. Her "friends" must stay up all night worrying about her dry eye situation.
