Yes!! So buyer beware they'll sell you a ventilator and will take 4 to 6 weeks to get back at you when you have a hardware issue or repair.

Call the accounts that have the 980. They are working again on the latest software to fix more problems. Just trying to get sales up. Maybe they will fix once they sell enough. Some accounts are okay with the 980. Just depends. Compressor problems but a lot of accounts don't need compressors. I would talk to at least three to four accounts of each ventilator you are evaluating. Check to see how hard they are to repair.

980 code base is the 840 code base. Any rep that tells a customer otherwise is flat out lying. 840 still has bugs that could kill a patient.

USF, SF Gen Kaiser CMOs and any other healthcare provider needs to pull their collective heads out of their asses. Why anyone would do business with a company and want to use a vent that has a history of THIS is medically irresponsible and negligent.

SF Gen, Kaiser, USF C suite, CMO and any other healthcare provider that wants to use this vent needs to pull their heads out of their ass and look beyond national acct rebate $$$. Considering the history patient safety problems, IMO it's medically irresponsible and borderline negligent t use it. It was pulled from the market for several months to fix serious issues with the vent and it still has problems.

You must be joking, all these features merged into 980 will kill a lousy architecture and make the GUI blank forever. Go agency go and let the dogs out!

Well, the engineers and upper management of PB (Medtronic) Philips and CareFusion go back and forth between companies where they can get the best deal financially or when they become disgruntled with one they will go to the other. Why do you think their products are similar? Cross pollination? They are all located in the same area, So Cal.

Does your new vent blow smoke up everyone's ass like all of your other products?
