I'm hearing rumblings of a major re-org for "non-core" groups. Not sure if it's just personnel or a divestiture.

That sewer needs some changes. There are some good people there, but an overhaul is long over-due. It has been running like an IB for so long, so they should jettison those unqualified folks and get good traditional corporate types who know how to run well oiled departments.

Interesting thoughts shared in the article. Joe has stated that Bausch and Lomb is a core asset. Great brand with a very troubling portfolio that is not competitive in the market. Should investors be confident investing in VRX when the core asset is this division. I would think not. After all the legal challenges are faced and paid out, I don't see a path forward with this company.

Bill Ackmann (aka Prince of Darkness) is pushing for the sale of B&L because he needs to pay down the debt quickly as it is a major drain. Ackmann needs to get the stock up by hype etc..... as Pershing Square is not doing well and he Herbalite investment is also a failure and he is getting desperate going on CNBC and trying to coach Carl Ichan into a fight that Carl will surely win.

You can see his desperation and when that happens he has no regard for his employees!!!!

Have Chai-Onn and Little officially left the company? Good riddance to both!

Those two needed to go, desperately, since they were overpaid and under-qualified. They were probably doing fine, when the company had a market cap of less than $1bn, but their heads became as big as hot-air balloons when the company got bigger and their shortcomings became so obvious.

Didn't Schiller hire the treasury VP from Goldman Sachs or Morgan Stanley? Anybody knows anything about him? Is he competent, cause of, helping or hurting with managing the mountain of debt? They need to look very closely at anyone that were associated with MP or HS, since they reported fraudulent financials and has already sacked Tanya Carrow and put the blame totally on her shoulders, and she was just doing what she was told.

The Treasury Senior VP is she. Linda LaGorga, from Goldman.

Are these changes occurring this week or after Labor Day? Have you heard any more specifics about this?

Valeant has been quietly laying off people in small groups so they can avoid the WARN notice.

It's clear people on here don't actually know anything since all of these "predictions" all seem to be fake.

I'm part of the non-core assets team and it's pretty bad over here. Grossly under paid to have only 20-30% of scripts filled the rest converted to generic. Gotta get out of this company and fast. Papa ask your sales forces what is wrong and we may give you some of the answers to Valeants problems. Upper mgmt tells you what you want to hear. Ask the people who actually generate the revenue...your sales forces.

oh give it a rest. get back to work and stop stirring the damn pot. get a good bottle of vodka and stick a banana up your ass. maybe that will calm you down a little. and give the rest of us something to laugh about for once.

Amen. Seriously, if you actually work there and you're not happy, then leave. I'm sure your co-workers would appreciate losing "that guy" that brings everyone down.

All the folks who could find another comparable job are leaving, but all the deadwood and those who are still drinking the kool-aid are hanging on for dear life. So, those who remain are getting undeserved title bumps and obscene retention bonuses for sticking around. New senior management are trying to figure out how to keep the sinking ship afloat. So far, with most of the bad news out, they're keeping their heads just above water in very choppy waters.
