After many years with KCI, I left almost a year ago. I've recently heard Acelity is back to their winning ways. I know my old customers say they are all jumping ship. Is this the norm?

Who are your customers jumping to?

It sounds like Molnlycke is getting the most attention. There are lots of small mom & pop outfits trying, but everyone seems to like the dressings with the silicone drapes. And sounds like they are sick of the Acelity style

That bald bastard was MAGICAL!! But no, I was just a lowly TMV who finally made an escape. I still keep hoping that Acelity will burn and the real KCI rise again.

This company is the £#€}|^# worst of all time. Managers and regional managers kiss #$$ all day. See ya later, uhsellitee.

it's all coming to a head. Another law suit in the works for sex discrimination. True story. When will they learn? Wait for it….

Your "real KCI" is gone. Accept that and move on.

You'll be waiting a long time. You only hear about the wins, not the settlements. There are probably quite a few of those.

Anyone who can respond. KCI express and the phones are frequently unreachable. They're so tough to work with. Can't someone just have a website or not have a busy signal when a customer needs help??

To put it simply, KCI really doesn't give a crap about the customer.

I'm the original poster and have had to tell my KCI customers that I can no longer help w VAC issues. I tried for a while, but the complaints started interfering w my new job. The reps and company no longer bring value to business, so customers are looking for lower cost options that are less problematic. I hate it, but it's the Acelity way apparently.

Nice to know I'm not the only one still getting calls from old customers about KCI problems.

Yep, it makes me appreciate my new job even more. Plus, I still want KCI to succeed. It was home for a long time. Though Acelity can kiss it...
