    If you're shocked, you haven't been paying attention. This is totally in line for specialty immune-oncology drugs.

    Why is it greedy?

    The pharma companies are not charities.

    They have a right to try to recover the cost of their failed R&D medications. On top of that, like any corporation, they have a right to make a profit as well as a duty to perform for share holders.

    Its not B.S.

    Unlike other types of drugs, this is chemo. Used once or twice for 5-6 weeks. Would never be used for a year much less 6 months. And, as a cancer survivor, when it is you that is faced with it, it is a bargain.

    I wonder what would happen in the poor patient was given the choice of taking a portion of the cost of the drug in cash, or taking the pill. A couple of hundred thousand dollars left to love ones would give an absolute pleasure. Taking the pill might or might not extend a miserable death.

    Oh, so not only should they give their drug away for those who take it, now they should pay people to not take it. Real genius you are.
