Fuck off grandpa - you got your defined benefit and now you want to continue to suck away at us and yeah tell us all about how hard you worked selling Zestril - best years of your life giving away freebies and dining with docs - just keel over = you and gammy too

AZ always withholds and then distorts the truth. If it was good they would tell you. In the case of AZ, no news is always bad news.

I'm retired Skippy and spent over 30 years with this company. Oh I got a lump sum pension something you will never see. We were viewed as professionals something you aren't. You are laughed at by your customers as you surf for signatures and feed office staff. You can't have a decent discussion with docs only show a computer screen. You are micromanaged to death and go to meetings to role play as management just doesn't trust you. Our meetings were fun and relevant with FREE TIME something you will never see. We actually loved working for Stuart, ICI and Zeneca. Not like you who hates going to work everyday. Of course you lie on the majority of calls and haven't worked a full day in years. So Skippy we were respected, loved who we worked with, and treated right by the company. You will never retire from this company. If you are lucky you will be a contract rep forever feeding office cows and being laughed at by doctors, nurses and patients for a fraction of your current salary. That's if you're lucky. I'm betting you will end up in Mom's basement forever posting on Cafepharma how cool you are. In conclusion, SHOVE IT ASSHOLE!

Not retired yet but have over 25 years and will qualify for the Zeneca legacy pension. I too remember when we carried all of the products and Drs. would invite you to office celebrations, Holiday parties and several offices gave you a Christmas gift. We knew the names of each others children and grandchildren. Drs. actually asked you relevant questions about your drug or a competitors. That was a long time ago before the arms race in Pharma that led to massive sales forces and multiple reps selling the same drug to the same docs. You are correct that the job today has become a joke to our customers, their patients, and even to us. A few of my offices still treat me the way they did 20 years ago and I have access thru the back door while the newbies sit out front waiting for a signature at best. I laugh at them along with my customers.

Mr. or Ms. Retiree...great post you really told them off. You hit the nail on the head when you described today's pharma rep. I respect you guys you built this company only to have assholes like this tear it down. Enjoy your retirement!
