Our culture will crush the Galderma transplants. Doesn't matter if they have their buddies to take care of them. We will suffocate them with meaningless activity and dull them with the socialist bonus structure.

I feel sorry for them, but whadda gonna do?

Novartis can't do anything itself! It has to buy expertise, which is why it's being run by McKinsey.

I hope your right. I interviewed and Galderma folks are clueless!

The Galderma folks aren't bad people. It's just that they come from a world that doesn't exist anymore.

Dermatology is different. The docs still think it's 1990. Everything is done on relationships and favors. The Galderma stars still take docs and their spouses out to dinner. They still take docs to play golf. They still take docs hunting and fishing. They still take docs to the theatre. And Galderma allows them to expense it.

When they are here with us and have to follow the Code, they will be shocked at how quickly their dirty "friends" desert them. Then they will be stuck with our European, socialist, micro-management culture.

Take a look at them in 12 months. They will have aged in dog years.

the Galderma hucksters are in for a rude awakening when they operate under our rules of engagement.

sad that we passed on so much internal talent and took these Galderma reps simply because they are so poorly paid

I know several great reps who were given a quick interview only to find out that the manager is going to be a Galderma manager and that they are bringing their boys with them.

So tired of the excuse the Derms "really value relationships" and relationships are the main hiring criteria...Really? So all other candidates that do not have any derm "experience" or recent "experience" have no ability to create new relationships? I guess Derms are the only group of docs that value relationships, how silly is that logic??

dude - the product cures PsO! Open your ass and read the abstracts from EULAR and ACR. The disease state is over! You think we are not going to command a price premium? Bend over and hope we don't go to deep is all you payers and patients need to be asking. Additionally, I am going to bitch slap the Humira and Enbrel reps so hard they will have market shares like Celgene. Single digits.

yes, it's almost as bad as fudging data to make a product look better than it actually is.

Galderma ABLs are sub-par. How could we let this happen? I interviewed with the team in the West and thought they were a joke. There is one that is an HR nightmare.

I interviewed nearly a month ago. I was shocked at the mickey mouse questions. Things like what was I good at in high school. Did I play sports. What was my college experience like. How many of my offices am I the go to guy? Really freaky questioning and they totally discounted that I have been selling a market leading biologic for years and am well known in the geography.

Get this - I sell a biologic to Dermatologists, not Rheumatologist and they never asked me about any single derm office. Ridiculous.

Clearly they are trying to hire on the cheap. My guess is that this is a part time, contract gig at best and the launch will crash in a year and you will be calling the pros to come help.

I will increase my asking base by 25% just for wasting my time.

I can tell you, some clever lawyer is going to figure out the silly questions and rule that they are discriminatory against age and experience and NVS will burn.

    This place is a joke.

Check out the linked in profiles of the new Novartis Derm managers - all are smoking hot and super young. Looks like a sorority newsletter.

If you aren't at least a 9, you didn't get a call back.

Sounds like exactly what Celgene has done and continues to do with their rheumatology and dermatology field forces. See LinkedIn...they are all young, attractive...mostly in their 20's and early 30's...don't see anyone in their 40's.
