Ex-Genentech principal scientist, husband plead guilty in trade secrets case

The former principal scientist at Genentech Inc. and her husband pleaded guilty to conspiracy related to the theft of trade secrets from the South San Francisco biotech in a case that started a decade ago, the Department of Justice announced Wednesday.
