Bicycle Therapeutics scores $555M investment for disease prevention

Cambridge medtech Bicycle Therapeutics has raised $555M in equity financing via a private placement.

Bicycle Therapeutics draws on Sir Gregory Winter's Nobel-winning research to trial use of ‘bicycle’ molecules in cancer treatment by penetrating solid tumours. Bicycle molecules are fully synthetic short peptides constrained with small molecule scaffolds to form two loops that stabilize their structural geometry.
