The more time that goes by since this it was announced that Chiesi was buying our Cardiology drugs, a few things have become clear. No one from the Medicines Company is going to come work for half the base salary. We currently make $125,000 base or more. I hope you guys have the access to the cath lab that most of us do. Oh, wait...you guys don't call on the cath lab. Leads me to wonder why the hell Chiesi bought it just to hand to a sales force with no experience in the cath lab or relationships. Good luck, but your ship is going to sink faster now that you have 3 more drugs that you can't sell. For me...I'm taking my severance and stock options and moving to Costa Rica. I can smell the coconut already.

That's an awesome question. Why would they buy a product with no cath-lab experience or relationships? The same reason they have higher priced drugs that come generic - but the selling point is a better pH or "smoother control". The products don't matter, it's the genius marketing, and selling processes we have. It's about better products because JZ said so. Better products because that's what it's all about - if you believe, so will everyone else. And if you're buying all this shit, I'll sell you a big red bridge in California.
