Can anyone provide details about comp and culture? Is this a lab that will be around for a while? Considering an opening, but I’m hearing it’s very aggressive and borderline reckless on the sales side.Money seems nice, but is it realistic to hit goals for the big commissions?
Thanks

Pay is good if you can make quota but most reps aren’t anywhere close. Technology is cool but lots of competitors and coverage is always an issue. Would take the job if you have nothing else lined up

Hi, what is the state of this company these days? Recently, a position opened up in my neck of the woods and I was contacted by recruiting to apply. I reviewed BTO's website and product pages and it seems...rudimentary (if that's the word to use?), with spelling and grammatical errors. But, I also realize they're still a small start-up, so probably going mad trying to stay competitive in the market and obtain/maintain relevancy.

  • Is the IC plan still unobtainable?
  • What is the culture like for the Sales Team?
  • What does the pipeline look like?
  • How large, exactly, is the organization?
  • How healthy is the organization?
Thanks for any help and insight to aid me in making an informed decision to potentially join!

The compensation plan is almost impossible to attain. Even if you get remotely close, the goal dramatically increases the next month so you are always chasing that carrot. They are one of the most stingy companies around. Look somewhere else where the pay is better. After all, that’s the reason we all get jobs in the first place, right?

Lab sales is a long sale-how often do they expect you to convert accounts?
