she is very upset. Very small territory. It's a D she said, which tells me in my mind she is close to failing and only an F is worse, but I didn't question her. Low Volume. Says she's going to lose her job because there's no Medicare coverage coming for United or AARP next year. I told he it will be ok. Why is this job so stressful? She only making about 50 scripts a week. Is this bad?

First off, nobody believes you go on cafepharma as the husband of a shire Rep to ask questions. That being said, if this was real, you better get a raise or work a lot of overtime. Good ole wifey isn't making shit for money moving forward,
 












there's been a lot of anxiety here of late. Division can't be supported without Med D Coverage. Product is basically flat since January. Allergan has Lumigan/Combigan/Latisse/Restasis. We can't match it. One product. Shared voice is silly. Resume updated.

Medicare bid results will roll out soon. Rumor has it our team did not win any participation trophies. We are not paid vs Restasis. We started off being paid by script. Now we are paid by growth. Volume has not been a metric, except the amount paid per script in Q4-16 and Q1-17. No one loses a job over managed care coverage or volume of terriory. Indirectly, if you fall well below national averages of market share or growth.

Nice bullshit.

If wifey is a crybaby she needs to leave pharma. It's not for slackers or sissies. Perform or bust. They don't play. Big paychecks come with big expectations.

Yes people lose jobs when company doesn't make money. NO Med D and free first scripts for commercial and Med D, dispensing fees paid to PBMs and pharmacy fees as well cost company a lot of money. Look at refills per territory and that's how much money each rep is bringing in.

If you don't think a downsizing is coming you are drinking the Kool Aid!

They hired WAY TOO MANY REPS. Territories are too small. There are 5 in my state where 2-3 would be fine.
 




































anybody else getting nervous there will be some layoffs before the Oct NSM? Some territories haven't posted that had layoffs

There will be massive (35-50%) changes by the end of the year. My guess is leadership won't say a word at NSM, but make the announcement on what's happening they day after. Just watch and see
