Why so many PCP postings?

<

It’s called culling the herd. Anybody who pushed back on anything had to go. If you didn’t like Gilot’s video…gone. If you moaned about the disastrous way AZ handled COVID - see ya, if you didn’t want to play the game - bye bye.

For the people in the back who may not have heard you…can you explain what it means to play the AZ game?

A lot of good reps were let go in December. So why so many postings? The culture became toxic and then the smart reps left on their own.
All you need to do is look at what passes for leadership and the impact of some of the hiring and promotion decisions has on the field to see what’s going on. There was a mass exodus of reps in the Dallas region a couple of years back due to the decision to put a completely unqualified person in the director role here. Too many reps to count fled, but the people at the top decided it wasn’t the directors fault but rather the issue was that the people who left were probably just looking for other opportunities or disgruntled - huh? Really? Look at the region now, people are constantly looking for other opportunities to get away from a clueless director who’s responsible for most of the departures.

Those who got laid off were the worst people in the team. Their rating was lowest and most with performance issues. The best got retained and still with AZ
Ya to this statement! They laid off the number 1 person in the region. Number 1 means that they keep the cheapest rep they could keep. That means you are a worker bee working for shit while others left and got close to a 30 thousand dollar raise.

That hire was a complete box check, and every body knows it. She’s worse than a mediocrity, she’s dumb but people also hate working for her. She’s checks a couple of boxes, and that’s it.

The Dallas Region people quit, they weren’t laid off
They’re still quitting. We’ve lost a few lately, and people are interviewing as I text this. The most common complaint is micromanagement from El Paso + that’s spilling over to the DMs. I know 1 rep just interviewed earlier this week…says she hates the culture in the region.

Large exodus out in CA too. Last I heard about 13 PCP reps left to promote for Bayer. This last "restructuring" was a reminder that we are truly dispensable. Company loyalty is dead. Each man to himself/herself.

sad thing it it doesn’t have to be like that. They always do their people dirty. Sending everyone our into the field during covid sooner than any other company all while saying we’re right sized then letting go of 500 people right before Christmas. Disgusting they can’t be trusted

Hey gang, it’s Bob. Do you do everything you can to get in front of your customers? Do you let them feel “comfortable” knowing that you’re not going to find a way to get your message out? Are you not willing to make the back door your first portal of entry into your offices? If you’re not “N it 2 win it”, you’re working for the wrong company, baby. We make it happen no matter what the cost. If you walk into a public bathroom, and your see your docs highly recognizable shoes under the stall, you don’t just walk out knowing that he has nowhere to hide, do you? Heck no, you let him know you’re not going to let him shit in peace without hearing how awesome your medicines are! You slide that great marketing piece under the stall, ask him if he cares about his patients, then hit him hard with a close after going front to back with your sales aid! We’re AZ, damnit, and don’t you forget it!

That’s awesome, Bob! What do you think about this idea - peg the doc, start telling him about Jardiance’s great coverage..blah, blah, blah, then get a handful of wadded-up paper towels, wet them, then come over the top of the stall and just pound that f@cker! You know, kinda like high school. He’ll be so kissed at BI for messing with him on the shitter that he’ll never write another Jardiance script!

there simply is no better time to get in front of your customer than when they’re dropping a deuce.

Actually the urinal isn't too bad. I offer to hold it for them. If by chance they "like" that, I'll finish with a happy ending. Leading the region...;)
If I’m at the urinal I start by saying “nice watch”. Their reaction tells you if they’re game. Great job on your regional ranking. Does Bob ever reach out with “kudos”?
