SNN has drifted into a pattern of hiring top leaders from outside the orthopedics industry. As a consequence none have a clue how to move the needle though there is no shortage of grand strategies, i.e. Syncera, that never work. What is the fascination with GE Medical, US Surgical and Boston Sci rejects? Who is making these decisions? We are clearly incapable of learning from our mistakes so we continue to make the same ones over and over.
