In this day and age, this company and its parent company are going nowhere fast.
What kind of company doesn't have enough money to keep it's employee's afloat for at least a months. It's basic math, keep some money in the bank for a rainy day.
What kind of company furloughs their VP of Lab Ops? I know who! Someone who doesn't care about standards in the lab.
They furlough hundreds of people, but the lowest number were doctors. And to top it off, the doctors didn't really lose anything. meanwhile, Sonic did very little cuts.
Now, they also want to limit PTO? HA! let the lawsuits start.
This medical leadership model is crap. If you want to be successful, look at Quest and LabCorp. Docs are just another number on the wall. they fire them as fast as they can hire them.
Sonic is a full blown international lie. In AUS, they might be something, but here in the US of A, they are total crap. They think they run a tight ship, but they really don't. They have more problems than Aurora ever did. The only thing that keeps them going is the deep pockets of AUS backing them up and that they are too big to fail at this point.
Both Sonic and Aurora got bailout money from the feds... where is it? I don't see a bonus for the employees who took drastic cuts on pay and took on 5 times as much work because of all the furloughs.
IT is a nightmare ever since CR left and they put CA in the front seat. that's a roller coaster about to fly off the rails. Soo many things, but nothing gets done.
HR is a mess. why even bother there.
Payroll is going away soon. they should be looking for jobs sooner rather then later.
