The recovery is far worse

Cook has fallen flat on their face for several years. "Transformation", Back orders, WMS(system crash). Upper management DOES NOT live in reality and punishes you for expressing concern with where the ship is headed, like if you close your eyes it isnt real. Base salary is not anything more or less than what is expected from a company in this spectrum, but where they get you is bonus, its taxed twice as much as commission so you pay the taxes and they dont. Their bonus structure constantly changes to HONESTLY keep you from making money. Its a joke and everyone in the company knows it. Middle management, who is now a herd of "yes men" and pathetic shallow drones, are now charged with righting the ship, and this has been "accountability" forced on the sales force because of the companies failure to bring new product to market, keep up with the larger competitors and back orders that tower over the industry average. If back orders take you from earning bonus, Cook DOES NOT take that into consideration and will not pay you what you would have been paid had their manufacturing not messed up yet again with faulty garbage supply-chain practices and juvenile business operations. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SUCCEED, you will only be able to fly under the radar until you kiss the right behind to get promoted or use the job as a stepping stone to a legitimate medical company. Oh I could go on, but this should be more than enough for the average person to know this is about the saddest excuse for a sales company as they come.

Everything stated above is spot on and the truth. They don't want to pay reps what they have earned and backorders is their way not to pay reps for the sales they have gotten. The comp plan moving to annual payouts only helps Cook and continuous backorders make it nearly impossible to grow your business. The backorders are all caused by Cook's inability to evolve with the times and they can't fix their manufacturing issues. Constant finger pointing and lack of accountability with supply chain/upper management leads to reps being held accountable for their screw ups and trying to pick up the slack. With the upper management good ole boys club and nepotistic promotions, they don't want fresh blood or new ideas injected into the organization. People are actually black listed and ostracized for speaking up and speaking the truth because Cook wants "fall in line people" who won't question the status quo or think on their own. Upper management is in denial and still operating like it is 1984 and still blames Covid for backorders that have been going on since 2014.
