South Florida?

How is it off? I was told by an individual who works there about the doctor being laid off (it was Dr. Gelikman). And the fact that six people have quit the lab is also true.

Given these circumstances, how is it that you can say that everything's good there?

And another person left (grossroom tech, I think). Just didn't come back to work one day. In this economy, how are people doing this? What's going on in the lab--or in the company--that's making so many jump ship?

Just heard through the grapevine that they're taking away all the Quest work from the lab. Is this happening in other BUs as well? And they're also looking for a data entry person; that department wasn't fully staffed the last time I looked.

Bumping this thread up. Just talked to a friend who works there. She says CS is gone (HR rep, very nice) and DH in the lab is also gone. Streamlining?

On another note, I have never been more glad to get away from a company. I loved the people I worked with, but I could not handle some of the insanely stupid decisions management made.
