Not criticizing, just trying to see if this theory of the B2B guy/gal theory of employing is working out.

Also curious about prior Pharma reps that have gotten hired.

I don't know which was a worse chioce, the pharmaceutical rejects, the Enterprise rejects, or the ADP rejects.

Cast your vote!

That would be a tough vote but I think all the above would suffice. They will probably do okay with no new products and spend their time passing out bagels and doughnuts to the nurses.

DH & RH Corp Sales Trainers are both from pharma and kicked ass in the field hence move to roswell. Actually quite a few top performers have come from pharma. It's not a bad background to have

Umm. I know both those trainers and they didn't do jack. CL was with KC for less than 2 years and only reason she got job was because she was single and willing to move. Trust me others were asked first. With that said I think she is doing a good job but let's not kid ourselves you can go look at numbers. 1 st year doesn't count either, nobody does anything year 1 that would be of there doing.

This thread is dumb. My 6 year old could sell our products as well as anyone. Closed suction has 95% market share, Oral Care is a horrible product that only gets sold if the hospitals are broke and need to save someone's job, Microcuff is what? 7-8 years old now and we have what? $5-6 million in sales...maybe, and last Bal-Cath which has about $2 million in sales after 15 years. Are we getting the picture yet folks? In case anyone was wondering there will be no more investments in innovation on either the DH or RH side. I don't care if you believe me or not just know that I know. These two divisions will likely be sold of in a few years for a huge chunk of $$$ thanks to Ballard products(which would be a smart move).

How many folks are there in our entire Marketing team, both upstream and downstream??

About 70% less than there needs to be in order to develop and launch new products (see 2005-2009 and how big our marketing dept was then). Just collect a check and enjoy one of the most laid back medical sales jobs on the planet while you can.

Been here for decade and its never been this bad, ever.

Thanks for the valuable information Debbie Downer. It's attitudes like yours that this company doesn't need. If you don't like it, leave.

This post is right on and has been this way since 2000, the year KC bought Ballard. Just milk the old cow until the milk runs dry then sell the cow!

Well you may be right about CL, not sure, don't know her, but JS made his number his 1st and 2nd years before heading to Roswell, so your theory about nobody does anything year 1 is in the crapper. Maybe it's just you.

1st year didn't count. He was half way through the year when he started. So, only one year of good numbers. He also said he needed to get out because he was worried about making his number the next year, and that's a fact. Not that he's doing a bad job, just sayin.....

1st year doesn't count? What are you...in 2nd grade? Probably the excuse you used when you didn't make your number the first year, and who isn't worried about making their number year after year. I doubt that is the main reason he picked up and moved to Roswell. Look, we have a lot of problems but JS isn't one of them.

Who cares what chumps are in the training department. The product line has already sold itself so they need to train on dougnut and bagel purchase and distribution. The only reason reps come in is because they agree to move not on their ability. Prime example was Kim Grace and the "Peter Principle".

You took the words right out of my mouth.

One made a complete fool of himself at the awards dinner. Hint, he wore a bow-tie. And it wasn't his attire that made him look like a fool (although the attire didn't help much)

I saw that person. I can't imagine him being here very long. He says stupid things. He will wind up saying something to the wrong person and will end up getting fired.

Most of them are actually pretty good and fairly articulate. I can think of only two that I can almost guarantee won't be here long. These two guys are just terrible. It's now May, I'll bet that at least one of them, if not both are gone by the end of the summer. Don't want to put their initials but mark my words. Be interesting to see if my prediction comes to fruition.
