Resignations

All that nonsense is in the past. Pico continues to double every year and reimbursement is much sweeter. This year should be the best one yet. Leadership is rock solid.

I'm so happy now that I resigned........it's incredible. As Frenchie and crew keep driving cuts and no growth, you'd be wise to leave, too. Plenty of better places - even Starbuck's might be worth it.

Opened up his pocket book? That's more dictated by quota expectations. Looks to be more of the same. True lack of direction. Changed every quarter or so. Work hospitals, no wound clinics, wait become discharge specialists. It never stops. A function of our leadership.

That is the exciting part of selling Pico you have so many sites of care to attack and grow share. It's a complex sale and you must be able to wear many hats. Those that do so are rewarded generously by leadership.

sounds like another McCann sighting. Exciting? More like disjointed. Our leadership can't forecast challenges or even realistic sales expectations so we fly by the seat of our pants. Pico is a great product. But our support team, including leadership and marketing are jokes. I mean we've had three or four jokers running Marketing over the last two years. What happened to the dude from Spain? It's like people disappear in the middle of the night never to be heard from again. It's entertaining that I can go do lunches for offices of 65 people that may have 8 docs...but can't get sample product.

Pico, Pico, Pico........how about making your sales goal ONCE! I know, I know - Innovative and Disruptive, sales went up by a gazillion %, the best product ever, award winning........still waiting for you to make the actual number given to start a year? Yawn....

Pico is the long term future of wound. The market is moving towards single use negative pressure systems. This is evident with Medicare increasing reimbursement in both the hospital owned wound centers as well as Home health systems. This offers the practitioners an effective, simple and low cost option.

Everything done in both spaces above will be dictated by reimbursement. Similar to Oasis there's no way for these centers to make money with pico. It's the same reason they continue to use skin subs with pass thru codes. It's certainly not based on efficacy.

The other challenge here is we all have big territories and pico isn't a residual sale (as much as corporate thinks that it is). There's a lot of hand holding involved across all care settings. I'm too busy defending my base to spend time getting butt hurt in every wound clinic and home health centers. Many HHC won't take patients with pico on currently as they transition from the hospital setting which is challenging enough. Lastly - I'll bet you a dollar as reimbursement changes, if it's favorable you'll see a corresponding increase in the price of pico.

I would really like to know who the asshat is that posted this. If PICO is the future, let the downsizing begin now. A technology with no patent that can be replicated over and over at a lower cost by any company, is the future of S&N? A product that requires so much hand holding that a rep loses money simply by trying to sell this product. Raise the price you say? Reimbursement models will kill that.

Growth of Pico continues to outpace the competition and market. Facing obvious headwinds from KCI has only affected us with a handful of contract negotiations. Turnover has all but ceased and 2017 is already off to a rapid start.
